Have you ever wondered where music came from and how it evolved over thousands of years? Do you feel stuck listening to the same old music over and over and yearn for some variety in your everyday listening? Join us for a music appreciation/history course that will blow your mind and entice you to listen to things you have never heard before. Instructed by Mike Walker and Katie Dukes, this class is designed to introduce you to a wide spectrum of musical genres and events. We begin the class by learning where music evolved from and venture into the exciting obscure! Some of our topics will include: early music, opera, instrumental works, symphonic music, 20th century music and much more! We will end our course by venturing into the community and viewing a live performance of one of the musical pieces we discussed during class.

This class is a fundamentals class to teach you everything you need to know in order to create stunning, one of a kind pieces of jewelry that express your individuality in a fun party like setting. Over two class sessions at your home we will cover bead stringing, design, professional clasping and two wire wrapping applications for you and your friends. In addition to these basic techniques we will cover different material types, metal types, wire sizing and much more! If you have a beading question, we will no doubt have the answer! All materials included in the class are of professional quality including tools, sterling silver filled findings, stringing wire and a fun multi colored glass bead mix with your choice of pendant. After class you will keep all of your extra materials as well as your tools! You are also welcome to bring broken jewelry that needs a re-design or any beads you have lying around to add to your designs. After the party you will leave with at least one necklace, one bracelet, and two different styles of earrings. Learn the wonderful world of beading and start making professional quality jewelry for your self, for your friends or to sell.

Group Violin Lessons
This class is excellent for young children (3-5) or anyone just wanting to see how fun playing the violin can be! Violin lessons are offered in groups of 3 for one-hour lessons. Classes will run in six-week sessions and be comprised of individual instruction as well as group activities. Find a group of friends that want to learn together or contact us and we will place you in an age appropriate group.
